The Grand Ledge Varsity volleyball team will hit the court tonight, November 3rd at DeWitt High School for a district semi-final match against East Lansing. The approximate starting time is 6:30 p.m.
The Comets and Trojans will be the second game of the evening. The host Panthers will go up against Lansing Everett at 5:00 p.m. in the other semi-final match.
Grand Ledge advanced to the semi-finals after a straight set victory over Waverly on November 1st. The Comets won an exciting 27-25 first set before cruising to the semi-finals with 25-18 and 25-15 victories in the second and third sets.
Senior Abbie Schaner recorded six aces for Grand Ledge while Olivia Belding had six assists. Mollie Winger finished the night with 10 kills.
The winner of the Grand Ledge vs. East Lansing game will advance to Saturday’s district championship game.
