Grand Ledge Public Schools is very excited to offer the NEW Grand Ledge Community Recreation Program. After decades of recreation coordinated by the city of Grand Ledge the city has passed the torch to GLPS!
The new program is now called Grand Ledge Community Recreation and is directed by the Comet Athletic Department. Recreation Assistant Matt Howard joined the GLPS staff on January 1st when the school district took control of recreation. District Athletic Director Steve Baker will continue to oversee the Athletic Program along with the new community recreation offerings.
Parents can register their children at the new Athletics and Recreation office located in the Sawdon Administration Building at 220 Lamson Street. Please enter on the Park Street entrance.

Registrations are currently being accepted for the following programs. Detailed descriptions of the youth programs are available at www.glathletics.com or by visiting the youth recreation office. Program information has also been distributed to students grades K-6 in Friday folders.
Soccer $30.00 – 3/4 Year old, K/1st Grades, 2nd/3rd Grades
Volleyball $50.00 – 3rd/4th Grade, 5th/6th Grade
Coed T-Ball – $30.00 4yr/Kindergarten
Youth Baseball $ 30.00 –1st/2nd Grade Machine Pitch, 3rd/4th Grade Kid-Pitch and 5th/6th grade Kid-Pitch.
Youth Softball $30.00 – 1st/2nd Grade Coach Pitch, 3rd/4th Grade Coach Pitch
Swim Lessons – Starfish, Guppies, Pre-Level 1, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4,5,6
When registering your child please include the grade they are currently in this school year.
