“My sister and I grew up taking lessons at Court One Athletic Clubs and we played in USTA tournaments year-round,” Miller said. “I played varsity singles for 4 years for Okemos High School, and am proud to have been part of a State Runner Up team in 1989 under Coach Dan Stolz.”

Ms. Miller has followed in the footsteps of her father, Al Inkala, a legendary varsity girls tennis coach at Okemos for 20 years. Her father led his teams to six State Championships.

“My dad is my coaching inspiration because of how well he related to his players, and how he always made sure they laughed had fun,” Miller said. “I look forward to fostering my players’ love of the game, helping them improve so they can achieve their goals, and having a lot of fun as a team along the way.”
